This past Sunday night, we opened up with prayer and then some praise and worship. We read scripture from the book of John 13:1-17. After reading the word and doing some more praying, we began in our own Youth Footwashing. The Holy Spirit began to move in a very powerful way. Pastor Bill first started washing all of the youth leaders feet and then he and Josh Gentle began washing the youth’s feet.  This was just another step that we needed to take to build our spiritual relationship with God. We had several rededications and there were 5 that gave their lives to Christ.  PRAISE  THE  LORD !!! We also wanted to remind all of the youth to bring some friends and get free ice cream. Do not forget about our 3 day fast. We also wanted to say thank you to TEEN CHALLENGE for being such a blessing to us and to our church, for coming and being a part of our worship service. We will keep you guys in our prayers and we are so excited about what God is doing in the teens lives.

First of all, I would like to thank Braxton and Christy for not only cooking and preparing the food but also doing a great job on the decorations. I want to say thanks to Josh Gentle for being the soloist  during the night. I want to thank all the youth that served from the beginning all the way to the end. You guys were awesome. I want to give a special thanks to Molly Hobgood for playing the keyboard most of the night. I am so glad that you let God use you in a very powerful way. I want to thank all the leaders that helped out in the back and out on the floor. I want to thank Joe Brackett for operating the sound system. I want to thank Pastor Bill Hamby and his wife Brittany on the job well done with all the games and all the other activities they had planned for this event.  I also want to give a big thanks to our church family. You guys rock !!!!  Without you guys, this event could not have happened.  Thank you for all the support and the donations that you gave.  I can see God really moving in this church in a very powerful way.

First of all, I want to tell you all that the Holy Spirit showed up and showed out today! It started out this morning with a couple of youth in the first service being filled with the Holy Ghost, then it happened again in the second service with an increase of numbers. There were youth speaking in tongues and crying out for Him. The flowing of the Holy Spirit from this morning just poured out tonight in the youth room as we ended our fast. We are so excited about our youth getting on fire for “GOD.” I want to encourage you teens that are filled with the Holy Ghost to continue to pray in tongues in your prayer closet everyday.
